I read this book in preparation for my Cisco MPLS exam, on my way to becoming a CCIP. It didn't feel like the authors of this book know anything about blueprint and simply copy and paste general real life experience. Even still most of the class completed the course with a D or C. The designs range from simple knots, to intricate designs taken from illuminated manuscripts like the book of Kells, and include large images (spirals, animals, human figures), repeating borders (spirals and knotwork that would look GREAT stencilled on a frame or along the edge of a table). Lake's boats were technically as successful as the Holland types which eventually eclipsed them, though built on rather different principals. You will get my point.. The topic of sub-assemble was not cover till unit 16!!!! There was also question like Question 5. It's unfortunate that these two volumes are currently out of print.. Also, I think that is the unique Cisco Press book that covers MOST (but not all) the exam top
